CASTING RUMOR: Dianna Agron for Johanna?
ClevverTV reports that Glee’s Dianna Agron is up for the role of Johanna Mason in Catching Fire.
I can’t help but wonder what Naya Rivera thinks about this as last year, she expressed that she wants to be part of Catching Fire and play Johanna…
Again, this is just a rumor.

E!Online reports that Lionsgate have narrowed down the casting choices to 3 actors: Armie Hammer, Taylor Kitsch and Garrett Hedlund.
A source tells us at that the top three names being bantered about right now areArmie Hammer,Taylor Kitsch and Garrett Hedlund.
The source also says that a final decision from the studio may be announced as early as this week.
However, another source says the studio may also be looking at unknowns à laBrad PittinThelma & Louise.
A Lionsgate rep said, “As with the first film, we won’t be confirming, denying or commenting on any casting rumors for this title. We will announce news wide when there is official casting news to announce.”
As there is no official confirmation, this is considered to be a RUMOR.

The Hunger Games DVD/Blu-ray Release Date & Special Features
EW announced that The Hunger Games DVD will be released in the US on August 18, 2012. It is safe to assume that we will have the same release date (or a day earlier or later). We will announce as soon as we confirm the Philippine release date.
They also released more information regarding the special features:
The two-disc set will include over three hours of unreleased material, with features that provide insight into how the film was made, interviews with the cast and crew, and details about some of the story lines that differed from the book — like President Snow’s character (Donald Sutherland) and the role of the game maker (Wes Bentley). An eight-part documentary entitled The World is Watching: Making of The Hunger Games delves into the behind-the-scenes aspect of creating the film. The extras also include the full-length “Propaganda Film” shown during the Reaping.

The Hot 100 List is a “definitive list of world’s most beautiful women” according to Maxim. This list included all sorts of celebrities from Amanda Knox to Family Guy’s Lois Griffin. And of course, Jennifer Lawrence made the list and landed the #6 spot!
After being in a movie about a beaver and next to naked for the majority of X-Men: First Class, this 21-year-old Hunger Games star has her sights set on world domination. Let us all raise a glass in “tribute” (get it?) to the next generation of hotness

Inside Look at Ciak Magazine’s The Hunger Games Special Edition
Italian magazine Ciak released a 100-page special edition featuring The Hunger Games to celebrate the release of the film in Italy. It contains interviews with the cast, Gary Ross, Suzanne Collins and behind the scenes features.

Although, Suzanne Collins didn’t make it to the Celebrity 100 list of Forbes, she was included in the 10 Rising Stars to Watch.
Author Suzanne Collins has a good chance of making the list next year. There are more than 36 million copies of her Hunger Games trilogy in print and the film based on the first book has earned $620 million at the global box office. Collins will get a tiny slice of the profit from the film but it could be enough to land her on our list.
