Dear HGP followers, supporters and future members,
Hunger Games Phils. tumblr & twitter accounts have been up for 24 hrs. now and so far we have been satisfied with its progress. Furthermore, the support that we’ve been getting from fellow Hunger Games Fansites and of course from HGP followers have been overwhelming. We are so grateful to all those who support HGP by promoting our Fan Org. But most of all, thank you to all of HGP’s followers for taking the first step in joining us. Thank you for being the first set of our followers and we believe the future success of HGP should also be credited to all of you.
Howevever, this is only the first part of HGP. If you have noticed, we prefer to call HGP as a Fan Organization (Org) rather than Fan Club. This is because we envision HGP as something bigger than a club. We envision HGP to be a long lasting worthwhile organization that will also foster true bonds of friendship among its members while fulfilling the organization’s goals. And of course, we intend to be the coolest Fan Org there is in the country. Why? Simply because Hunger Games deserves nothing less. We intend to build an organization that will make our Mockingjay proud.
We have so many initial plans for HGP that we would like to finalize and fulfill them with you. We want to start things up by having our first Meet up as soon as possible. Hopefully by this September. We plan to be a stable and famous organization before the Hunger Games movie will be released next year. But first we have to stabilize the number of our followers. With that, we would like to ask your help by continuously promoting our tumblr & twitter accts.
But regardless of our number, we hope that most of you will be active members of HGP. Hope to see you soon on our First ever HGP Meet up.

Hunger Games Phils. First Meet-up!
Hi everyone! We are starting the preparations for our first Meet up =) We are encouraging all fans here in the Phils. (esp. in the Mega Manila area) to come and see what HGP is all about. Most especially those who would like to have bigger roles in our organization or those who would simply like to talk about the trilogy we all love =)
As of now we are projecting to have it on Sept. 25 (tentative). The venue is still TBA since we first need to know how many people will come. But we will assure that the venue will be somewhere everyone knows or a place convenient for everyone.
For any questions, just ASK us. And please watch out for more posts regarding this.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL OUR TUMBLR FOLLOWERS!
Our tumblr site/tumblog is now up for 1 week and in that short span, we have generated more than 80 followers (and counting) and for us, that is more than what we expected.
Thank you to each and everyone of you who follows us, who sometimes reply or “like” our posts & even reblog them.
Thank you also for your posts that we too also reply to, “like” or reblog =)
More so, we are very grateful with the support of our fellow Hunger Games fan sites all over the globe who promoted our tumbr site to their followers as well.
And we also want to give special shout outs to followers who showed us extra interest & enthusiasm with building the HGP as an organization by your simple messages of support & appreciation and/or by offering us your help.
You guys know who you are, and again MARAMING SALAMAT! =)
We are now preparing for our First Meet-up and thank you to those who sent their RSVPs already and to those who couldn’t come but still expressed their suppport to the activity. And again, we are encouraging all HG fans in the Philippines to attend and send your RSVPs to us asap (see previous posts). We are looking forward to meet other HG fans in the country =)
And, just to clarify, HGP is not exclusive to Filipinos only. Anyone is welcome to join no matter what your citizenship is. As long as you love the Hunger Games trilogy, you’re welcome to join. After all, no matter where we come from, if we love the trilogy, then we all share the same citizenship—PANEM. hehe ;)

Because Tumblr went down for a day or so:
We were finally forced to work on our NEW WEBSITE so we can be “independent” from Tumbr. Having a website has been a plan but because of the so-called blackout, we finally got to start working on it. Hopefully, we will be able to “launch” our new site by New Year’s Eve or during the second meet-up. =) However, we will STILL continue being active here on Tumblr and simultaneously update it with our site. Basically, the main difference is that, our new site will be the OFFICIAL SITE of HGP instead of our Tumblr site. =)
Lastly, we encourage everyone to follow us on Tumblr or Like our FB page so you can still continue to get updates from us even without Tumblr =)
