For the first year of The Hunger Games in the MTV Movie Awards, the odds were certainly our favor as THG won FOUR awards! 

Josh Hutcherson won Best Male Performance Award and he was there to accept it! He thanked the fans, Suzanne Collins, HG Producers and Gary Ross! See video here

Jennifer Lawrence won Best Female Performance but couldn’t be there because she’s filming in Prague so she sent a video and this is what she said: 

“Thank you MTV and all the fans, for this award”  

“I want to thank Suzanne Collins for creating such a an iconic, powerful character in Katniss Everdeen. It’s been such an honor to portray her and have audiences around the world embrace this movie.”

And her comment on her new “trophy”? “I can’t eat this!” 

Josh Hutcherson, Jennifer Lawrence and Alexander Ludwig won Best Fight & Alexander and Josh were there to accept the award! (for the video, click here)

And last but certainly not the least, Elizabeth Banks won Best Onscreen Transformation and no one could ever forget her accepting the award! ;) Watch the video here
