The Hunger Games has been nominated in several categories for the 2012 Teen Choice Awards.

It was already announced before that THG is nominated in the following categories:

• The Hunger Games- Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy
• Josh Hutcherson- Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy (both for THG & Journey 2)
• Jennifer Lawrence-Choice Movie Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy 
• Eyes Open”by Taylor Swift -Choice Single by a Female Artist
• Liam Hemsowrth- Choice Male Hottie

Fox just announced the 2nd batch of nominations and THG is nominated in the ff categories:

• Jennifer Lawrence and Amandla Stenberg-Choice Movie Chemistry
• Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson-Choice Movie Liplock
• Alexander Ludwig- Choice Movie Villain
• Liam Hemsworth- Choice Movie Scene Stealer (Male)
• Elizabeth Banks- Choice Movie Scene Stealer (Female)

The Hunger Games is up against other blockbuster films such as The Avengers, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1
