The First Philippine Hunger Games Teaser Trailer and Announcements from HGPPrimetime!
Announcements:
- To all those asking, we’ll be releasing the photos of the Tracker Jacker and the Philippine Hunger Games TOMORROW NIGHT! Our victors are still watermarking the photos, so we ask for your patience. :)
- It’s official: meet-up will be held in the Mall of Asia vicinity (or surrounding areas). MoA won over Alabang Town Center by an overwhelming margin, according to the poll that we’ve posted. Meet-up will be held on February 25 (Saturday), lunch/early afternoon. Specific place and time will be announced soon. We’ll keep you posted!
And for something that we’re really excited about. To make things brief:
- We’re releasing a mini-web series of the recently-concluded Philippine Hunger Games! Format will be like a TV episode, viewable on our YouTube account! Our Technical and Multimedia Districts are joining forces to make this possible!
- The mini-web series will premiere next Saturday, February 25 and will run for four episodes! Make sure to tune in to next week’s HGPPrimetime, we’ll be posting the link for the premiere here!
- Series will include a background on our tributes and an extensive footage from the event!
1. Are You a Crazy Cat? The most ambitious and the craziest online contest we’ll ever hold. What are the things that you will do for a mockingjay pin? Eat the whole book? Diving off a high platform while shouting long live The Hunger Games? You tell us!
2. Tracker-Jacker: The Ultimate Hunger Games Scavenger Hunt: Are you street-smart? Do you have a sense of direction? Then this contest is definitely for you! We’re going outside the four corners of this page and into the chaotic roads of Manila! 12 pairs of randomly selected Pinoy tributes will be traversing the busy streets of Manila (or the crowded walkways of a mall, perhaps) to find that pair of Mockingjay pins! Are you up to the challenge?
AND THE BIGGEST OF THEM ALL. We’ve listened to your wants. We present…
The 1st-ever PHILIPPINE HUNGER GAMES!
The most ambitious real-life contest we’ll ever hold. At least 12 pairs of randomly selected and randomly-paired Pinoy tributes will battle it out ala-The Hunger Games,and the last pair left standing will be awarded with the much-coveted mockingjay pins! Keeping true to the story, we will not be divulging the details to this one. We will let the tributes find out the theme once they’re inside the arena. Who knows, there might be a tournament of victors as well! Although we would like to mention that this one bears a minimal amount of registration fee.
Much more detailed mechanics to be posted REALLY SOON, as well as for the reaping of the tributes.

We would like to thank the victors and head victors of the Multimedia and Technical Districts for the wonderful job they’ve done here. We have seen them spend countless hours doing this fine job, and we think they deserve some recognition and acknowledgement for what they’ve done.
